The Program Pillars

Classroom Studies: The Coaching System

The core topics of our post graduate program in European and international business law are taught in the nine attendance modules in nine different program locations. The focus is on practical solutions to real world business problems. Together, candidates and instructors tackle questions of business law, taking into account the relevant legal, economic, historical, social and cultural framework.
Our presence in the leading world economies of Europe, America and Asia provides candidates with relevant global perspectives, making us one of the leading international business law masters programs abroad.
Candidates are in constant contact with the chairpersons throughout the module.

Case studies, individual course work and team efforts are essential parts of each module. This helps to ensure that candidates can directly apply their new knowledge in their everyday work. Every module is completed with an exam, the form of which alternates between written and oral and individual and group.

Self-Studies: Preparing for the Modules

Candidates prepare for the modules using StudyNet, an online based, password-protected learning platform. They can complete essential parts of their post graduate training at their own pace, from anywhere in the world. For self-study, all relevant documentation is supplied in advance.
Before starting a new module, candidates may be asked to complete a written assignment in the form of a case solution; or they may write a critique of a piece of literature, a decision, or a judgment.

Master Thesis

In their master theses, candidates address a current and real problem of European and/or international business law according to academic standards.
The thesis must demonstrate that the candidate has sufficient knowledge of European and international business law, and is capable to independently develop sound, comprehensive solutions to practical problems.
