Since 1994 Prof. Dr. Christoph G. Paulus is Full Professor for Civil Law, Procedure, Insolvency Law and Roman Law at the Humboldt-Universität of Berlin. In addition, he is Dean of the Law Faculty since 2008. Since 2005 Christoph G. Paulus is consultant of the International Monetary Fund and was in 2006 consultant of The World Bank in Washington D.C. He also was advisor for the German Association for technical cooperation (GTZ) with regard to insolvency legislation in Moldova and Yugoslavia (now: Serbia). He is member of the International Insolvency Institute, of the American College of Bankruptcy, of the International Association of Procedural Law, and of the International Academy of Commercial and Consumer Law. From 1992 - 1994 he was Associate Professor at the University of Augsburg. He studied at the University of Munich where he also was research associate. Prof. Paulus achieved his LL.M. at the University of California in Berkeley.
